We took the opportunity to go for a hike today at Deer Creek Canyon and followed up with dinner with our friends James and Sarah. Dexter had a lot of fun playing with their little daughter Annabelle. Pagefamily dot net Weblog. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Landscaping sure is fun! I've also fixed our drainage problem by running an ABS extension off of our sump pump outlet all the way to the street. It might not be very pretty, but it's a lot better than having water pooling up in the corner of our lot. All of the work took two weekends and several nights after work but we are happy with the results. There's more to do too, but that's for a later project. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Pagefamily dot net Weblog. Friday, December 21, 2007. Who stole Santa's Cookies? Well, Dexter did apparently, Dana caught him in the act taking Santa's cookies. Bad dog! And thanks to Dana's parents gift we were able to get this really cool Aero Garden and have started it up today. It's planted with Basil, cilantro, chives and other tasty herbs. I'll have to see if a draft of it was saved and it just needs to be republished. We came back through Grand Lake and really enjoyed it, although it was pretty sad to see how bad the damage to the trees is from the pine beetle epidemic that has been striking the forests. I think I am starting to do a little bit better and have completely embraced foster care adoption. There are so many children from infants to older children who need love and I know that my kids are waiting for me and I want nothing more than to find them and start giving them the life they deserve.
