Saturday, November 15, 2014. We had a very relaxing, low key Halloween this year. We went to a pumpkin farm in Winnie, TX the weekend before Halloween. It had a hay ride, face painting, pumpkin bowling, corn maze, a big slide, and a big swing. It is a much smaller scale pumpkin farm than the ones that we went to in Virginia but the girls had a great time regardless. Both girls wanted unicorn face paintings - two years in a row. I'm the queen of the tire tower! Decorating cookies at her school party.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Emma the Factory Worker. Boxing up the Hershey Kisses. Preparing to enter the factory and make her very own Hershey Candy Bar! Emma picked on the computer all of the ingredients that she wanted in her candy bar. Sprinkles? She chose white chocolate. She added chocolate chips and toffee chips. Friday, June 22, 2012. Emma and Anna both loved watching the changes. Emma watched intently every day and literally called me over to the cup 10 times a day to see the "growing caterpillars! She was so excited to be able to see the final butterflies and even more excited that all 5 caterpillars made it alive all the way to the butterfly stage. Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Look at all of this candy! All I really want is popcorn! After the movie we played in the fountains. Emma had a blast. Anna was a bit slow to warm up to them. Another day was spent at our local park. The girls had a blast and I brought my camera for once:). We have also been doing some cooking. Girls love to lick the beaters. Mom still wishes that their were three beaters because I never get one anymore. I guess that is a good problem to have:). Our lunch spot - famous Cantler's.

Saturday, August 3, 2013. The kids all took their turn standing under the water bucket at the splash pad until it dumped all of the water out on them. I have super cute pictures of Anna, Kole, and Sydney doing it below. Emma was too infatuated with building her sand castle to take her turn. Unfortunately, the heavy rain kept mom from taking any pictures of her finished sand castle.. The grand kids were trying to stay occupied for the big surprise. Safe to say he was surprised! Monday, June 15, 2009. I didn't realize it had been so long since my last blog! The past two weeks Lexi took swimming lessons at our local health and wellness center. Her lessons were at 8am Monday through Thursday and boy was getting the kids up and out a struggle. There was one day that I had to pick Lexi up out of bed and put her down to get her moving. What she doesn't realize is that this fall school starts at 8am every morning! The Columbus Zoo is 2-3 times bigger and we'll be there in a few weeks.

It was a very commercial event and both Jared and I commented on how we missed being with family and reading the Christmas story. Next year. We did have a good time though.
