Life in the Houts House. Monday, September 21, 2009. We had a wonderful WEEK celebrating Adeline turning ONE! I still can't believe it! She is 32 1/4" tall and weighs 24 lbs. 8 oz. (Ella was 32 1/2" and 28 lbs. 4 oz. and Mommy was the "short" one at 31 1/2" and 25 lbs.). Crazy present from Grandpa Bob. A special gift from her big sister. Ella helped me make a chocolate cake. For Adeline's special day. I was giving her a kiss, but it looks like I'm trying to lick frosting off of her! Reecie Rue is Two.

In other news, Charlotte was diagnosed with mild/moderate unilateral hearing loss. It is in her left ear. It's been a long process of tests (and there are more to come) and an emotional rollercoaster for Mom! This past Friday, Charlotte got fitted for her hearing aid (Ear Bling! The big sisters LOVE their baby! Reecie Rue is Two.

Yesterday in church we heard about the loaves and fishes and how Jesus fed the multitude (5000 not counting women and children) with just 5 loaves and 2 fishes. ( Matthew 14:16.) as we were going to the grocery store I really considered this, five loaves of bread and two fishes would not on a normal day feed my family.there are 8 of us.
