Pandora's Box: Gone, but not forgotten.

http://jducey.blogspot.com/2010/07/gone-but-not-forgotten.html

Well-behaved women rarely make history. Gone, but not forgotten. It's been almost eight months since I left Ethiopia and not a day has gone by where I don't think about my time there. It's virtually impossible to articulate what Assela means to me, but suffice it to say that it's never far from my thoughts. (Admittedly superficial) case in point: yesterday's near-tornado. If you have any questions about the project, please don't hesitate to email me at jducey(at)gmail(dot)com. Thanks for your support!

Pandora's Box: photos.

http://jducey.blogspot.com/2010/09/old-course.html

Well-behaved women rarely make history. We went on an adventure last night and strolled around the Old Course. As a bonus - photos from last month's trip to the South of France. Okay I am jealous, those old course photos must have just been for the old man. Beatiful, most would appreciate the Paris pics more, but not me. Cant wait to visit next summer and tee it up at the old course. love ya,. 14 October, 2010 17:13. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Overheard in New York.

Pandora's Box: January 2010

http://jducey.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Well-behaved women rarely make history. Today is the 37th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court Decision that established a woman's right to privacy and safe, legal abortion. Why should you care? What does it mean to be "pro-choice? Then do something to make it less necessary. Support affordable access to birth control. Lobby your state. That civilians enjoy). We shouldn't, as a country, be arguing about whether or not to make abortion legal (Criminalization does nothing to change ab...

Across the pond. and back again. A current Florida Gator temporarily relocated to the west of Ireland. These past few weeks have been insane for various reasons. Nearly three months of living in this little Emerald Isle has been brilliant, grand, great craic. Watching a late night gig at the famous Roisin Dubh. I'm a bad person, I...

http://anniopia.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Anna in Ethiopia: What's New?

http://anniopia.blogspot.com/2009/07/whats-new.html

Monday, July 6, 2009. Ive been a bit MIA. Sorry for the long delay in posting. There hasnt. Been much to tell, these past few weeks. Life goes on as usual in. Ethiopia. It was reassuring, somehow, to visit the US and to realize. That not that much had changed at home. Its equally reassuring (and. Yet at the same time depressing) to see the sameness of the day-to-day. Routine here. Not much has changed since before I left for the States. In fact, not all that much has changed since I arrived here in 2007.
