Thursday, November 1, 2012. And I'm ALWAYS finding him asleep covered in books. This one is with one of his favorites - Go Dog, Go. Jacob is a pretty entertaining kid. His laugh is highly contagious and just music to my ears. He's also pretty ingenious with his toys. Saturday, December 29, 2012. 48 Wonderful Whirlwind Hours. He even had to fill a take out container to bring home. Crazy kid. The afternoon was spent worrying about Eliza and then visiting a neighbor who's an ER Doc - the same one we had to visit last Christmas Eve. His diagnosis - an eye infection. Yeah! That evening my parents and Chris came over (during a crazy blizzard snow storm) where we ate dinner, played chimes, tied blankets, and watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Tuesday, January 14, 2014. On the 13th we went to see the Ice Castles in Midway with Jeff's parents, Mike and Niki, and my mom. It was amazing. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised at how cool ice can be (pun not intended). The natural blue of it is beautiful. We stumbled upon a famous someone hidden in a corner. We have a young man in our branch, Kirill, who L.O.V.E.S. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. Whenever the missionaries go on visa trips, they know to bring some of them back for him.
