Saturday, August 15, 2015. Today is the last day of summer. Unfortunately that last day started way too early for both Michelle and me. She woke up at 2:30 and couldn't fall back asleep. The day went well, which is good seeing as I'm in charge of making sure it does. Sometimes I get a blinding flash of the obvious . . . Third time today was a charm. Thursday, August 6, 2015. First night in the crate was much improved. Michelle tucked Abner away about 9 o'clock and he whined for a few minutes, but settled right in. Her plan was to check on him at 2 in case he needed to go out. She was able to walk right up to the crate and he never even stirred so back to bed for her until 5 when she took him for his walk. Monday, August 10, 2015. The movie trend continues. Daniel joined Michelle and the kids for Inside Out. We've heard nothing but outstanding reviews. Perhaps it was over-hyped because Michelle and the kids said it was good, but they weren't blown away. Got to the mall early enough for a pre-movie snack.
