Tuesday, November 5, 2013. I had my doubts about this whole sibling thing. Two months ago, I never thought Marla would accept a new baby with open arms. I figured she'd be jealous and take her resentment out on the baby, or at the very least regress in some way or another (potty training, sleeping, etc.). I'm happy to admit that I completely underestimated her. She's been such a great big sister from the very beginning. She loves loves loves Avery. She talks to her exactly like we do:. Oh, what a BIG yawn.

Saturday, March 9, 2013. Another year, another party. Since Christmas was so crazy this year, we kept Marla's birthday pretty low-key. On the actual day, we spent a lazy day playing with all her new Christmas/birthday gifts. She woke up to her birthday gift from us. a kitchen! All we needed was another gigantic toy taking up precious space in our living room.). Sharing a kiss with her bouncy horse, named Red. We did a practice run with birthday cupcakes in preparation for her party later in the week.

Usually Sister waits in the car while I drop him off, but she came up to the door with us since it's a special day.
