Jeff's Bike Blog: Formula Oro Puro brake dismantle/disassemble
http://jeffsbike.blogspot.com/2009/08/formula-oro-puro-brake.html
Jeff's Bike and random bike related stuff from NZ. Sunday, August 09, 2009. Formula Oro Puro brake dismantle/disassemble. There is an exploded diagram at bottom of this post. The Formula Oro Puro disc brake has been around for a few years now. Its a very light brake with good stopping power and modulation. In order to recondition the "pump" body you need to remove the actual brake "lever".There are two types of levers, alloy and carbon. If you have the alloy lever you need to look carefully inside it.

http://jeffsbike.blogspot.com/2014/09/hauraki-rail-trail.html
Jeff's Bike and random bike related stuff from NZ. Friday, September 05, 2014. This is not a tale of epic endurance and sleep deprivation, far from it. Its a story about 6 over 50s casual (very) riders doing the Hauraki Rail Trail. We had a lovely holiday earlier this year with our friends Janet and Colin who now reside in Tasmania. They are great travellers and are always looking for a reason to come back to NZ. Janet is from the Arnst. New Chums beach near Whangapoa. The next day we tootled in to Thames.

Go hard or go home! Tuesday, 4 March 2008. Mt Vic Nat Champs. Ok, I thought it was about time I updated my site. I had a great day at Mt Vic where I won, making me national XC U19 Champ so pretty cool tittle to have. Go hard or go home! Tuesday, 20 November 2007. Mid North Island xc series Round 2(Tokoroa). 1:30min, 2nd place 1min down to winner Mike Northcotte. This course i really enjoyed because it had no rest and was fast. My legs felt crap to start off with. But as the race progressed i felt better and better. Go hard or go home! Sunday, 16 March 2008. Oceania Mountainbike Champs: Nelson New Zealand 2008. 4 laps, 1hr 26min 1st Place, (22seconds ahead of 2nd place Alex Mcgregor) . One of the best days in my racing career. Its just awesome to think I'm now U19 Oceania XC Mens Champion! I had to fight bloody hard to win this one. For the first three laps I felt sluggish. My legs were spinning fine but I didn't have any power. My mind was telling me don't panic you can still win this race. In no particular order.
