3D Modelling and animation. Thursday, 10 December 2009. The Butterfly - Part 2. Once the butterfly was finished I looked back at it and realised that I forgot to add the butterfly's antenna. I completed the butterfly by making one antenna out of a cylinder by using the 'edit poly' modifier and I used the 'symmetry' modifier to mirror the image onto the other side of the butterfly. 3D Modelling and animation. Saturday, 5 December 2009. The Fish - Part 2. After I had created the basic shape of the fish I was able to focus on some of the main features such as the eyes and fins. These were quite difficult for me to do because i had to use techniques that I didn't understand. I added the eyes by using the same tools and techniques;however, i used soft selection to make sure the eye looked natural. 3D Modelling and animation. Thursday, 10 December 2009. The Panda/Zebra - Part 4. After I thought I had completed the fish I looked at the image and thought there was something missing. I didn't like the way the panda's head looked like it was floating, so i decided to create the panda's body. This is a rendered image showing the panda in full. A CD or DVD containing your 3D S Max files. (If your work has been created in Max 2010 I will be unable to open it so you must export your models as objects! Also on the disc you must include all textures and materials (If you do not do this I will not be able to mark you on how well you have used materials).

I thought it would be very difficult to achieve the camouflage look and therefore I thought that the images would not look very good.
