We found these simple, minimal invitations at Costco.com. I used Frank Sinatra stamps as my homage to the Rat Pack star who was a frequent resident of Palm Springs. And I did the calligraphy myself! My husband was very impressed with my calligraphy talents:). My husband downloaded the font from our invitations and designed the layout for the menus. He bought white card stock at Office Depot and had the copy center there size them (2 per sheet), then print and cut them. All for less than $8.

My bouquet was lisianthuses, miniature calla lilies, dahlias, and unfolded roses made to look like gardenias (due to a gardenia shortage the week of my wedding! I loved all the different textures and I left the stems exposed and blunt cut. I put a Swarovski panda pin on my bouquet in honor of my mother. Sydney is not only my daughter she is my best friend in the world. She is the proud owner of an extremely strange cat that most people would not claim. Sydney is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. Lesley is my beautiful little sister. Her favorite thing to do is clean her house until it sparkles, then sit down with a glass of green tea and watch Little House on the Prarie. Brian is one of David's best friends. I care way more about shoes than a dress I will wear once. One of the only wedding details I had ever fantasized about was blue Manolo Blahnik shoes.
