Bakke Family est.2005. Monday, June 1, 2009. Birthday Splash Pad Fun! Yesterday was the kids friend River's Birthday party at the Tempe Splash Pad. They had such a great time! We played around in the water and went down the slides, then enjoyed some sub sandwich and yummy cupcakes :) Here are a few pictures. Brooke's messy face after her cupcake hehe. Bakke Family est.2005. Saturday, March 28, 2009. Boot Camp Week 1. As many of you know, my older brother Greg is a personal trainer and he is holding this 4 week bootcamp 3 days a week. He has been so kind to let me go. I feel great! I went Tuesday, Thursday, and this morning and it has been the best workouts I have had in a looong time! Yes, I am a bit sore, and I am hating this dang healthy eating, but it will be so worth it come 4 weeks from now! I am so excited for Tuesday to come to get back at it!

Roman had such a great time this year, and was really working hard to hone this 'Trick-or-Treat' skills, so we made sure to give him lots of practice. We started out the festivities by crashing Brie and Jason's ward Christmas party. They knew how to do it right! They had carnival games for the kids, trunk or treating and a Haunted House. The kids had so much fun running around in their costumes together! We also attended our ward trunk or treat!

Roman LOVED the monkey exhibit, so much in fact that I turned around for a moment, and next thing I knew one of the zoo workers was yelling at Roman because he had sneaked under the rope and was going after a cute little monkey! Thursday, January 3, 2013. Meet- Sophie Grace Sanfilippo. I woke up at about midnight on 5/25/12 to some mild pain. This was about 3 weeks before my due date, so I figured it was just a false alarm and went out to the couch to read until I could fall back asleep. I was quite sure I'd make it into work for my last day before summer break, however, little Sophie Soph had other plans! A few hours later with contractions about 3 minutes apart, (and after Tommy had asked a few times if I was ready to go!

Thursday, January 3, 2013. We took a little trip to California in September! We spent a few days soaking up the sun at Huntington Beach and Laguna Beach. Roman wasn't a huge fan of the water, but loved playing in the sand, making sand castles and knocking them down.
