Jack has become very opinionated in his ripe ol' age of almost 22 months. Oh toddlerhood.what a fickle time. If left up to him, he would survive on the following 4 foods forever and ever:. 1 scrambled eggs - he requests them morning, noon, and night. 2 fruit snacks - aka "foot nacks". 3 french fries - aka "frinfry" said as one long word. 4 blackberries - I really need to invest in a blackberry bush. He inhales them. His favorite forms of entertainment:. 2 Fireman Sam - have yall ever heard of him?

My almost-4-year-old {wahhhhh} is embarking into the world of adjectives head first. We are full of descriptive words. No longer is it ok to just wear a shirt, we have to wear a beautiful. Shirt A pair of boots has become a pair of wuvewy. When she puts on a princess dress {which is literally every.single.day}, she looks in the mirror and proclaims, "well, don't I just look fabeewous {fabulous}! I think it is so hysterical. She always has the facial expressions that go with the word.

The dreaded 3 letter word. Reese: Mommy, can I have a cookie? Me: we are eating dinner soon. Me: Reese, don't push Jack. Me: because you might hurt him. Me: Reese, eat some more chicken. Me: so you can be big and strong. Reese: Mommy, can I watch Dora? Me: you have to rest so you can play tomorrow. Me: BECAUSE I SAID SO. It's fun around here, folks. PS those are her "beautiful mearrings". I watched my daughter have a 20 minute seizure. On vacation. In the middle of the night. I can't even remember all of...

Your vocabulary contains these. Brrrm brrrm {yes there's a difference; here's the brrrm brrrm face}:. You would be UTTERLY obsessed with this book {the vroom-vroom book}:. We must read "the vroom vroom" book 553 times a day:. I swear I read the Rattle-Rattle book 72 times in an hour:. On occasion, we have to be holding both books at the same time:. The trifecta: ball, car, book about car! What's the word for 4-fecta? There's a piano, which means noise, which means Jack's life is complete.}.

Playgroup Professions: Under the Sea
http://playgroupprofessions.blogspot.com/2014/05/under-sea.html
Friday, May 16, 2014. My heart may explode. I am so so very proud. They are my world. Last night, part of my world went onto a big stage in front of hundreds of people in a concert hall and performed a dance perfectly. I can barely contain myself. My silly, smart, mischievous, inquisitive, funny three year old rocked her first ever dance recital. And I couldn't be prouder. Her class performed a tap dance to "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid. They were dressed as crabs. It was ridiculously cute.

Playgroup Professions: Catch Up: The First Month
http://playgroupprofessions.blogspot.com/2014/04/catch-up-first-month.html
Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Catch Up: The First Month. My little man turns three months old tomorrow, so I thought it was probably time for his one and two month updates. I actually wrote the one month post on time, but as I was editing, I thought it sounded too perfect. It was very we-had-another-baby-and-nothing-was-hard-and-life-is-perfect. Sounding, which we all know is far from the truth. I started playing games like see how high you can jump on my bed. Just so I could pee all by myself. C and Daddy ge...

Reese's Pieces and Cracker Jacks
I've been feelin the pressure {cough, cough Whittington}, so I'm back. Hopefully. I do use this as my "scrapbook" so to speak, and I like documenting the events in my kiddies life. Since we last spoke, Reese turned 4 and life hasn't slowed down at all. I finally got Jack in for his 2 year check-up where we learned he gained a whopping 4 pounds in 14 months. #heavyweight. Anyways, last year. I did an interview with Reese when she turned 3 and I'm back with the 4 year edition. What's your favorite color?

I paint, teach and show my work at Rancho La Puerta in Baja California, Mexico, where I am Resident Artist in the most beautiful landscape imaginable. Because it is just so gorgeous, I often paint the landscape, though I make portraits and other commissioned works of various subjects, too. The Buddha often finds his way into my work, as does the Lotus and other symbols of the spiritual path. The grace and beauty and strangeness of the human body is a subject that captivates me eternally. That’s what I sa...

Do You Use Scrivener? Posted by Jennifer Branigan. Asymp; Leave a comment. Some time last year, I purchased Scrivener. I’ve kind of played around with it, but I haven’t taken the time to really learn how to use it beyond the very basics. Right now I’m using Scrivener to write my first draft. Rather than writing one long, ongoing draft as you would in a Word document, I’m writing my novel scene by scene, each in their own document. Setting Realistic Writing Goals.
