And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. Abraham Lincoln. Friday, May 18, 2012. Super Special May 13th. I suppose I should have blogged about May 13th before Amelia's two month checkup. It occurred to me the other day that I completely forgot to altogether. We put a good dent in the cake at dinner, but Andrew and I have since finished off the whole thing by ourselves. So much for my diet plan. I woke up on Mother's Day to 9 cards to open, a new record!

Something that we do. Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Veteran's Day- Montgomery Zoo. This picture shows just how beautiful of a day it was.I love Fall! Her new smile.funny, I used to smile the exact same way only showing my bottom teeth. Perhaps there is some of me in her DNA ;). We loved the monkeys the best. The baby monkey behind the mama was only a year old and was such a hoot. He would run back and forth in front of us and was really interactive. This face cracks me up. LOVE that cute propped foot!

Something that we do. Monday, December 29, 2014. Leading up to Christmas. After Thanksgiving Jared had to go out in the field again so we had Jared's mom visit us followed by my mom and sister. The weeks leading up to Christmas certainly were busy. I had so much fun decorating the girls' rooms for Christmas this year. It is definitely my favorite part of decorating. Each year an ornament is added based on Halloween costume selection. Here are Lucy's from her three Halloweens so far. 1st year- the pig.

After many weeks of wondering if we would be celebrating in hues of blue or hues of pink on March 21st, we found out that it will be PINK! We had the ultrasound technician write the sex of the baby on the card. We opened the card before dinner in the car, and both of our jaws hit the car seats. It said we are having a girl!
