August is almost over, we celebrated our 16th anniversary yesterday, and we now have all four school aged kids in school, officially! Today was Alyssa's 1st full day of school. She is in the Kindergarten Readiness Class this year, we have been doing phase in days the past few days.Doesn't she look happy? Zach is in the 6th grade - we are officially "old" now that we have a middle-schooler! Here we go again!

Friday, August 24, 2012. This morning I dropped Kade off for his first full day of kindergarten! It was a bittersweet experience, probably more than when I dropped Blake and Trevor off for their first days since Kade is a little bit younger than they were when they started kindergarten and he's always been my sweet little buddy while they were at school. I almost teared up when I saw him standing in line with other kindergartners who were all three or four inches taller than him! Blake age 10 (5th Grade).

Tuesday, April 22, 2014. I spent a few weeks before Easter gathering new clothes for the kiddos at various consignment stores and sales and made a new bow tie for Kade. I think they looked pretty spiffy in their new duds:. Chad and I did not wear new clothes. I know better than to suggest to him to try to match the rest of us or go to the work of making a bow tie for him to ignore, but he surprised me by wearing a pastel green tie.
