A collection of writings from various travels. Wednesday, January 19, 2011. Mothers have this way of equating food with love. When Louw and I arrived in Jo'burg, our Jen fed us to the seams with her delectable food. "I love you, here, eat" she seemed to say as she handed us dish after dish. It's no different here with Helmine, I think moms just have so much love for us that they can't say it, so they bake/boil/cook/fry/grill it, then watch over us dotingly as we eat it. Thanks for all the food, Moms :).

Sent hot off the press from our hotel room in Nelson BC. Through no fault of my own the resolution in the playback is terrible, but watch it anyway. I am the blue shape, often seen colliding with the ground. Louw is the incredibly cool red shape wearing the zombie face warmer. Ps - at the end, the black shape whizzing by is a 2 year old, blithe and limber.
