We cranked up the music, got the fire going and ate lots of cookies and candy! Lauryn was obssessed with the candy canes. I think she ate like one whole one a day. So much for no cavities. We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. Thursday, February 18, 2010. So I haven't posted in awhile and my how Lauryn AND our family have grown! Lauryn is now talking in sentences and is fully potty trained during the day. She is very ready to be potty trianed at night, but mom isn't so sure she wants to take that dive quite yet. Lauryn is loving staying home with grandma during the day! She also moved to her "big girl" bed in February 2010. She loves it! Frogs for Baby Georgie!

We may not have it all together, but together we have it all. Thursday, February 5, 2009. We are talking up a storm these days. I decided I am going to start a journal entry with the words Lauryn is already saying and other fun stuff she can do as we go, I guess this is just a way I can keep track of how many she is saying and has learned. As of Feb 2009. She signs: please, thank you, more, patty cake, high five, best friends, all done. She has this fun giggle right now that lights up your life.

Stories from our life. March 31, 2012. Easter fun at the firestation. I feel like our years are starting to have an anticipated rhythm. From one tradition to the next. I love it. I want to find new traditions to tuck into the spaces that are left open. Enjoying the McLane Fire Department Easter egg hunt is a fun tradition. Rain or shine. And actually, when it rains it's almost more fun. Almost. Andrew is still learning the art to an egg hunt. It was nice that he didn't have much competition this year.
