And like most of my Latin American jaunts it was too short, but we had a good mix of jungle, beach, and really good food (out of the nine of us who traveled together we had nine seafood lovers, unprecedented). JC in the D.C. Sunday, April 26, 2009. The best season (but ask me again in September). I am always torn between my love for fall and my love for spring. I think that whenever it is either of those seasons, I claim that season to be my favorite. And so today, my favorite season in spring. The sense of renewal, a new found vigor for life, Sunday lawn games, BBQs, strawberry lemonade on the porch swing and blossoms. Oh the blossoms. Nature's confetti on the sidewalk. A post earth day celebration.

Every night in December Katherine and I are sleeping under the tree.
