Jenny's ramblings from Brazil. October 12, 2015. Climbing in the sertão. Charley found climbing in the sert ão! There are definitely no climbing gyms in Petrolina, and I would be surprised if there is one in the entire Northeast. Connected through friends of friends, a climber who. There are just two routes and I was able to get up the easier one, with some help. It was refreshing to be outside all day, watch the afternoon wane away, and challenge myself climbing.
