Thursday, June 30, 2011. A world full of awesome. I am currently blogging while sitting at the pool. Madeline is taking the last class of four weeks of lessons (she's the blur with the orange noodle in the above photo) and I am roasting on the pool deck. And I am super extroverted and will talk to ANYONE! Just ask my husband, I drive him nuts sometimes with my ability to go to the super market for cheese and come home with a new BFF. Friday, October 21, 2011. Om nom nom nom. One of Lydia's favorite things to do these days is talk about eating. She like to talk about eating just about as much as she loves to eat. I took this video on Lydia's birthday. I have no idea where she picked up that hand gesture while saying "nom nom nom" but I am going to guess it is from me. Saturday, March 26, 2011. I started this blog what seems like ages ago and barely blogged. Then we had Madeline and I began my life as a stay at home mom. I blogged a lot. Monday, February 28, 2011. I'm no Ree Drummond. She is The Pioneer Woman. Blogger, author of two best selling books, mom, cook, photographer, home schooler and all around wicked awesome ranch wife. I started reading her blog in '09 after her cookbook was published. Just this month her second book, this time an autobiography, was published. I whipped through that sucker in the first 48 hours I had it in my hands. For anyone with two small children, you know that is quite the feet. 3 celery ribs, chopped.

Wednesday, November 10, 2010. I am so behind on this here blog that I feel like my online community card must be expired by now. Is that even possible? So what have I missed. a lot. Wednesday, September 29, 2010. This girl has got quite the style. She's my own little Rachel Zoe. Monday, September 27, 2010. Iowa 2010, fin. After a sleepless Friday night, Saturday night both of the girls went down (relatively) easy. AND they stayed asleep! Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Gene Simmons has nothing on this girl. But wait, did you see Madeline? Let me zoom in for you. Oh wait, that is Gene Simmons from KISS. My mistake. Yep, that's my sweet heart all right. Of my two children common sense tells me that it would be harder to get a 15 month old to smile for a camera. Especially an un. Manned camera as we used a remote shutter control so NO ONE was standing on the opposite side of the room. Essentially. Oh where did I go wrong? And does it end there?

Saturday, October 01, 2011. Did ya miss me? Did ya miss me? I missed you too! So I have heard you. (I'm talking specifically to Aint B, Sue, Deb and Jenny! I have started to blog too many times to count just to get interrupted or not knowing what to say. Saturday, October 22, 2011. I found this in my drafts folder from way back in the spring some time. I can't recall what we were making. I can however assure you of three things:. It probably involved chocolate. They probably ate a lot of it. They totally made a mess of my kitchen. Three things I love about this photo you may not have noticed:. Lydia and Madeline are standing on the same chair. Madeline's chef's hat is down over one of her eyes because that is the only way it will stay on her head.
