Friday, August 7, 2015. The Forman Family Reunion 2015. My parents and Justin came to Texas for a few days at the end of July. We had a great time while they were here and stayed busy with lots of fun activities. We had a good old fashioned family reunion at the park on day, complete with lots of yummy food and fun games! The adults played minute to win it games, which were really fun, and especially entertaining to watch! Tanner and Lindsey had Brooklyn's blessing while everyone was in town.

Saturday, July 13, 2013. Safety Town: Summer 2013 (Take 1! Well summer is in full swing, and with that comes trips to Frisco Fire Safety Town. Safety Town is Carter's very favorite place to go, and he has really been looking forward to going again. This year Carter is big enough to drive the jeeps, which made it even more fun! He definitely needs a little practice with his crazy driving though! I just can't believe how big he is getting! Not that he really has much of a choice!

Tuesday, July 21, 2015. It wouldn't be summer around here without a couple of trips to Frisco Safety Town! They used to have Safety Town every Friday night in the summer but they have changed it so that they only have it open on two weekends in the summer instead. I am definitely not a fan because it is super busy. The first time we went in June wasn't terrible, but when we went again in July it was crazy! Carter was so excited to finally get to try the bikes! Sunday, July 13, 2014. Going to Frisco Fire Safety Town is one of our favorite family activities in the summer. They changed it this year, so instead of being open every Friday night, they had a weekend in June and a weekend in July where it was open to visit. Of course we had to take advantage of both dates! One of the big attractions at Safety Town is getting to drive the Jeeps around the little city. Carter was loves the Jeeps, and his driving skills have improved significantly since last summer!

Monday, March 26, 2012. However, as expected, nap time hasn't gone as well. We are now on day 5 with no nap. I am hoping at some point he will get tired of "cleaning" as he calls it, and just go to sleep, but I won't count on it. Each day the mess has gotten progressively worse. Monday, August 10, 2015. This summer just continues to fly by! July was a fun month filled with lots of pool time and a great Forman Family Reunion! I can't believe Carter starts Kindergarten in just two weeks :(. 1 The kids love the little shopping carts at Kroger. Unfortunately sometimes there is only one, which results in a lot of bickering. 2-3. Sting-Rays at the Children's Aquarium 4. McKinney 4th of July Parade. 1 Hanging at the pool. 2. The boys loved swimming with Kelsey one day!

Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Carter was so excited to take swimming lessons this summer! I didn't want Riley to feel left out, and since I had done the Parent and Child class with Carter when he was younger, I signed Riley up too. Riley tolerated it (sometimes! We have some Mom and Me swim play dates with our church and several people have commented what a good swimmer he is. We get kind of holed up inside during the summer here, so we love any chance we get to swim! He also tolerated the singing time!

Sunday, August 2, 2015. Both of the boys took swimming lessons again this summer. Carter moved up to Swim 102, and Riley was in the Parent and Child class again. After doing the Parent and Child class three times, I am definitely over it! Riley enjoyed the one-on-one time with Mom! Carter just loves being around people! Riley's favorite part of class was jumping in! He enjoyed having Dad join him for his last day of class, which happened to coincide with Ray's day off for the 4th of July.

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. The Toddler Bed: Round 2. I asked him how he got out and he quickly showed me. When he did the same thing the next morning we knew that there was no point in keeping him in a crib any longer. He has done pretty well in the toddler bed. His already diminishing naps are even more infrequent, and we often find him asleep on the floor at night, but he seems to be sleeping pretty well otherwise. Carter in the Toddler Bed.
