Wednesday, July 23, 2014. In Oma's beautiful garden. The July days have grown hot. It feels like summer is just getting started. We're going through many, many popsicles a week, and I haven't seen a shoe that doesn't look like a flip flop in some time. Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Alex took pictures of the beautiful sunrise after the blood moon. (It was actually too cloudy to see the moon during the night.). Wednesday, August 20, 2014. The Way Things Change. Beautiful day on the lake. (Above and below.). Annual boys camping trip! On the flip side, we got to take Eva for her first manicure and pedicure, followed by yogurt and pottery painting. Fantastic memories there as well, and the sleep is better too. ;). While the boys are away. (above and below). On Sunday night we took our visitors to the drive in for some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We are so lucky to have this here! Not something you see everyday.

Our kids will tell you that pictures always make words more interesting, and when it comes to blogging I'm inclined to agree. Monday, June 23, 2014. I'm behind here. Stuff keeps coming up. I should have posted last Wednesday. Finally decided to just wait until next Wednesday and now I find myself with a few quiet moments so today it's going to happen. I'll get back on track after this. (I think.). A few weeks ago, after the birthday hubbub, it was time to take Eva in for those all-important Kindergarten shots. She was brave and made it through like a champ (no more shots til she's 11! Its been awhile since we saw one of these.
