Do you ever have days that you feel like not praying? Do you ever feel like you have trouble getting started? Sometimes prayer is hard work. If you are like me, some days it feels like there is a lot of “dead air” between you and heaven. In those times, one of the things that I have found helpful is to prime my spiritual “carburettor”. A verse that I have found helpful is found in Ephesians 5:18-20. I learnt this verse when I was a child. In fact we even made a song out of it. July, 7 Aug, 14 Aug.

We even thought about checking to see which church had the best Mother’s Day gift or program and going there. But the fact of the matter is, it felt weird not be in church on Mother’s Day Sunday. We were also uncomfortable with the feeling tha. T we would be strangers in a foreign church on Mother’s Day Sunday. It felt like we would be crashing someone elses party. The Time Between Times

During one of our walks, we coined the phrase. Ldquo;time between times”. It is an interesting concept. We used it to describe that moment in the morning when you are not quite awake but you are really aren’t asleep. As I grew older I learned that the Ancient Celts used the same term to describe that transitional moment:. That surreal moment that occurs,. When the sun has not quite risen,. It is too dark to be day,. Yet too light to be night. Those few moments of twilight,. Just after the Sun has set.
