These are a few of the questions that Jim Benson. Faced when they came up with Lean Coffee – a simple yet revolutionary new meeting format. What is Lean Coffee? The steps are simple,...

Don't Answer Questions

http://www.facilitationpatterns.org/cards/dont_answer_questions.html

Every time you do for a system something that it should be able to do for itself, you weaken the system. Answering questions for a group that the group is capable of answering is an anti-pattern. Don’t answer questions. Turn questions back on the group. “That’s a great question, does anyone have any ideas? Get 3 answers from the group, THEN. Give your opinion. This gives the group more confidence in themselves, buys you time to think, and often yields better results.

We only live once. Let’s live well and glorify God. July 16, 2012. Yesterday the recordin...

Thoughts on life and mission from a fellow sojourner. In Acts 2:42-47, we encounter a description of how the very first Jesus followers organized themselves to fulfill God’s mission of renewing all things. In these verses, we discover that these believers had everything in common – Common Life. Common Worship. Common Good – but most importantly there was one uncommon dynamic to their life together Uncommon Power from the Holy Spirit. Acts 2:44-45, 46b. 8211; Goal of multiplying to 2 or 3 groups in 2015.
