Saturday, October 10, 2009. Briggs and Al's Run. Starting from the 5 mile marker to the finish line. Thanks to all that encouragement, Coop completed the 8k in 36 minutes and 39 seconds, placing 369 out of 3,185 runners. Good job, Coop! Thursday, October 8, 2009. Last Sunday we went apple picking while Papa Cooper and Grandma Smith were in town. We lucked out on the weather! It was a sunny, warm, beautiful day! Here are some pics from the day! Steve & Jenny: November 2009
http://stevensandjenny.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 5, 2009. Like all young kids, my children love bubbles. They are so marvelous and beautiful and fascinating, those bubbles. Just like young children. We have a little $3 bubble machine that creates a lot of excitement over here. We took it out to play, but it was a bit windy. The yards in our neighborhood are not fenced, and this creates a mighty wind tunnel down our block. Ava tried to catch them, but they were moving pretty fast that afternoon. So, picking up on my effort to update the blog, these are some shots of the kiddos playing outside at Papa's Cooper's house during our trip there in May. O-man loved the swing. He also loved the stairs. Peek-a-boo! I'm planning to toss some more posts up to try to bring this blog up to date! So check back, loved ones!

Sunday, June 21, 2009. The Tour of America's Dairly Land. We walked the length of the route to watch the competitors zoom around the different corners- very exciting. Part of the festivities of this two-day event included a 5k run/fun walk on Saturday morning. We thought that sounded fun to do, so we decided that morning to join the action. We got there just in time to get our racing numbers pinned to our back and join in the group warm up time. It was a hoot. Here's Coop stretching before the run. We al...

And Coop is so in love with him. LOVE it. Back in WI in May. It still wasn't very warm here on May 9th, but apparently it was warm enough for the grass to grow and need mowing. It was also a bit wet outside, and the fresh-cut grass turned Callie into a leprechaun. Check out that vivid shade of green. Owen is w...
