August 24, 2008. I thought I would post some pics of my animals. It was fun to take interesting pics of them. Two of my cats weren't as photogenic as my oldest one. Ready, Set, GO! Gracelyns not so good right now. Happy Birthday to my sweet birthday boy! Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Ready, Set, GO! The day is here! My first day back at work in a public school. Such mixed emotions. I am looking forward to sitting with the cool kids at lunch. Gracelyn told me she would save me a seat. So that was a relief. Whew! Also it is just for this school year. I didn't commit past May which I am glad so I can make my mind up in the summer what I want to do. Anyways say a prayer!

But more often than not, when I explain to a non-sportsy friend or acquaintance that I work for a conference or that I'm a commissioner, they haven't the slightest idea what I do. When we see him in the hallway, he asks "Hey there, you guys got any conferences coming up soon? One thing is for sure: you can't please everybody in situations like these.

Other than that we have been doing the regular summer things. Swimming, playing at the park for hours on end, lazy days enjoying the company of my kids being home all together. Life is wonderful. Where have I been? Saturday, December 19, 2009. Today has been filled with tears but oh so glorious in that my grandmother is finally clear and home with grandpa. They are celebrating together tonight. As much as our hearts ache right now it is comforting to know she is right where she should be at this point in her life. Friday, December 18, 2009.
