During house visits in Gazipur, children will line up outside the windows just to get a peek at us. Sometimes families allow us to minister to all who are interested, and others try to keep others out.

I love my life. Tell me I’m not the only one. Testing. Iphone →. 8 March, 2008. Tomorrow, after church we are having a pot-luck lunch, so I thought I’d try out a new recipe. This one is a great quinoa and bean salad. It’s light and it’s beany (mmmm! I love beans) and oh-so-proteinous (that’s my own word meaning “full of protein”). The texture is unique (it gives a wee little crunch when bitten). So it’s fun. Anyway… I took this recipe out of Weekend Cooking by Ricardo. Bought me for Christmas. 8221;̷...

I love my life. Newer posts →. 21 February, 2008. For awhile there, I thought that our kids were all hip and cool with their nalgene sippy cups. UNTIL….it was announced that the plastics used to make these cups and so many other cups, baby bottles, etc. are the worst kind of plastic for leaching the chemical BPA, (a synthetic sex hormone that mimics estrogen) which can cause fertility problems, cancer, etc. If you want to read about it, this is a good article. Genmaicha is what its called.its a blend of green tea and roasted brown rice. I love it and its good for you. I have been enjoying large cups of it ever since.I am only sad my husband doesn't enjoy the lovely aroma of this new favourite of mine. He thinks it smells like a pig sty. oink!
