Some tricky shifts but all m...

First time in 6 months. First time on the canoe in 6 months. Some short mixed fleet races at Balmoral. In the light stuff the IC was the fastest there. An old 49er sailed by old friend and NS competitor Rob gave some competition, but I managed to get past both times upwind. Posted by Phil Stevenson.

Phil Stevos Canoe Blog. New to International Canoe sailing in 2006 I was attracted by the US proposal to resurect the old development design rules with new lighter boats. Thursday, June 12, 2008. I have some interest in buying the Hollow Log. I will have to drive half way to Adelaide next month to meet Kevin, but at least it would go to somewhere with a few other canoes sailing. At Last the Canoe sailing Committee has made a decision and posted what they will submit to the Canoe federation. I expect that Germany will see similar numbers to McCrae, a few UK ACs, a few US and UK DCs and a bunch of european IC. I can not see any group getting 3 continents and 6 nations.
