No one thought I'd be in this class. Thursday, December 29, 2005. Thanks Scott Wolfe, truly. Posted by Craig @ 9:30 PM. Tuesday, December 27, 2005. I know my Shine piece has been missing for a while, and that is partly because I missed the film, and partly because I forgot to get the notes. I did watch the film, and therefore it must be blogged about. Posted by Craig @ 9:31 PM. Tuesday, December 20, 2005. What is with the lack of quality of film lately? Posted by Craig @ 10:08 PM. Both stories contain su...

No one thought I'd be in this class: October 2005

No one thought I'd be in this class. Monday, October 31, 2005. If I were to put Last of the Mohicans on the Continuum o. F Formalism, Classicism, and Realism, I would put it to the left of High Noon, about a third of the way between Documentary (Realism) and Fiction (Classicism). If I were to put this movie in a genre, it would be realistic fiction, which is a fictional story in a very realistic situation. I feel that this describes Last of the Mohicans very well. The setting was in colonial. Because it ...

Posted by Craig @ 10:27 PM. Existentialism in "Wages of Fear". Some examples of existentialist questions are: Is there a G-d? What is my place? Why am I here? No one thought I'd be in this class. Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Discussion Question #5- M. Posted by Craig @ 6:37 PM. Posted by Craig @ 6:17 PM. Sunday, September 25, 2005. What a crazy name. What does it mean? Is M for murderer? Is that why the beggar chalks an M on the back of his coat? Another film technique used well was the montage towards the end of our viewing on Friday. They showed broken doors, splintered wood, passed out watchmen, and a hole in the floor. Posted by Craig @ 4:23 PM. This mov...

I'm from the government. I'm here to help. Monday, February 06, 2006. Art of Film - FINAL ANALYSIS. I thought I would do a few entries to look back at everyone's final projects. I'm instituting a new award too; so long Oscar. Hello, Baby Daz:. La Douche de L’espirit. US title: La Douche de L’espirit. Pronounced “dee-MIE-nus”). Bathroom scenes; a few inaudible moments; poor kid whom Craig yells at in the hallway probably still in shock. View my complete profile. Our Next Film Is. The Baby Daz Goes to.

I'm from the government. I'm here to help. Sunday, February 26, 2006. Our Next Film Is. Perhaps the only film in our festival to play it straight- and 'right down the line,' if you know what I mean. Moonshine. Is no moonlight serenade; this is one cynical little film! Night-vision shooting on school grounds; tracking shot of school hallway cieling as the credits roll and the camera tilts down to follow Thomas walking- very smooth! And who died and why? Luna is some femme fatale! THE ENVELOPE PLEASE: This...
