Andy, Becky, McKinley and Marley Ann. Thursday, November 26, 2009. Where a Kid Can Be a Kid! Well on Halloween night, he stayed in his bed ALL night. We thought that it might of been from exhaustion from the night, but he has stayed in his bed every night since then! I asked him why he decided to start staying in his bed and he told me " the floor is uncomfortable, my bed is better! Andy and I kept our word and treated McKinley to an outing to Chuck E. Cheese. Thursday, December 31, 2009. Happy Birthday, Nanny Shewbert! We celebrated a huge milestone in our family this year with Nanny Shewbert's. Birthday. We are so blessed to have her in our family and so thankful that she has lived such a long and special life. As I've shared before, Nanny is one of my favorite people and Jake loves her just as much as I do. We had a reception for Nanny and her little sister, Anna Lee (who celebrated birthday #95 in December) at Mt. Yonah. I'm a little partial to those two!

Tuesday, June 9, 2009. I was finally getting the hang of this mom business. After having Jake for 14 months, he and I were really in our groove. and along comes Claire. When we found out that we were expecting again, I was shocked, excited, and very scared. How in the world could I handle two children under the age of 2? Here are a few pictures of our family. I will try to post more of just Claire soon. She really is beautiful! Can't wait for you to meet her! Our first look at our Angel #2.

Monday, December 20, 2010. Look how she's grown! We always get together the Sunday before Christmas to celebrate Nanny Shewbert's. Birthday. And because Claire seems to be Kako's. Girl, she always climbs up in his lap for a hug. Luckily, I've been able to snap a picture both years. I thought I would share them with you. Kako. Thursday, June 3, 2010. Take Me Out To The Ballgame. Got tickets for Jake to go to his first Braves game. Daddy and Mommy got to tag along, but the night was all about Jake. He behaved like a big boy and lasted 5 complete innings plus the 1.5 hour rain delay. We were super proud of him and took lots of pictures to remember this special night. Jake's favorite part? It was a toss up between getting to throw the ball like a real pitcher (see below) and the cotton candy. Jake sliding down the big baseball.
