We manged to buy some of the equipment from the college, rent an industrial unit and we have now been open for a few weeks now. Many of our ex students from the college have been coming in to use the space and it's been going really well.

Pottery knick knacks and the man who makes them. Thursday, 17 March 2016. I have been making a body of work over the last few months that will form the basis of applying for craft fairs and exhibitions over the coming year. Pottery knick knacks and the man who makes them. Sunday, 8 March 2015. It's been ages since I updated this. the last blog was just before I was off to take part in Potfest in the Pens last year! Well, it didn't go too well for me, It was my first time there and although I met some great exhibitors, I didn't sell much and came away a little deflated. However, it did make me re focus and think about exactly what it was that I wanted to achieve and so I'm re evaluating and making new plans for this year.

Lack of education, poverty, and poor hygiene are the three major causes of jigger infestation. The JiggerAct’s focus for this summer was to visit schools, establish cooperation and start what we hope to be an ongoing dialogue with the teachers and students. Furthermore, our hope is that this dialogue is going to continue and...
