Then we had fun with Julie and Mikey a few weeks later when they came for Easter weekend. Easter weekend was when Audrey took her first steps. We watched the Kate and William get married. Thursday, April 21, 2011. A few weeks ago Audrey went to her first crawfish boil. I didn't let her try the crawfish but I'm sure she would have liked it since she likes pretty much anything we give her. She must have gotten that from her daddy. She got Diet Coke spilled on her right after we got there but she didn't let it spoil her good time. I'm not proud of this but the below picture is what she did when the LSU fight song came on. Saturday, November 6, 2010. For Audrey's 1st Halloween she dressed as a giraffe. She had fun walking around outside in her costume with her neighbor friend Emily and then she handed out candy to all the trick or treaters who came around. She is really into wrappers now a days. There was a little bag of reeses pieces that kept her entertained for 30 minutes. Here she is in her cute little giraffe costume that her mom forgot to button at the bottom :). Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Baby Blocks for Ben. I haven't been crafting much lately.my sweet little 5.5 month old is keeping me pretty busy (and still waking me up at night! SO I try to squeeze in a project here and there. My nephew Ben celebrated his first birthday earlier this month so I made some baby blocks as a gift for him. One side spells his name (Bennett). One side makes a puzzle. One side has a car or some other transportation-related item. The remaining sides are random papers.

I figured I would try to get one of just the kids this morning. Not sure why. I guess I just wanted to stress myself out. The first picture wasn't too bad. They all were looking at the camera.somehow I missed that Blake messed up his hair! Since they cooperated so well, I figured I'd try it outside since the background would look a little better.

Wednesday, August 31, 2011. What does Blakers do now that his big bro is back in school all day? He plays with Perler Beads! The boy spent HOURS playing with those beads the other day! He made a lizard, turtle and a dog that day. If you have ever made one of these you know it takes a lot of concentration to work on them and a lot of time! I tried hard to pull him away from it, but he was DETERMINED to get them all done before Andrew got home from school. He was very proud of his work! Daddy and his boys.

These guys are hometown favorites (Wayne is from American Fork) so it was a rocking show. Imagine Dragons and Muse are still the bands that put on the best shows ever. We picked some of our plums (the ones we could reach). We stoned them and soaked them and then cracked all the stones to rescue the kernals. These we then peeled and skinned and added to the jam (this adds a lovely hint of almond flavour to the jam). We cooked the jam expertly and WOW! All home grown except the sugar.
