Saturday, February 28, 2015. Blog Update - Winter activities and Spring Plans. February has been a busy month - the busiest month of the year in the RV Park, with numerous activities and plenty to keep me busy taking pics for the Park and updating the Park Blog. I have been remiss in updating my own blog. Of the tournament. So armed with my new lens I was able to maintain a distance from the subjects and shoot candid portraits without them even knowing they were being shot. It turned out to be a ...Thurs...

Friday, August 29, 2014. Blog Update a short trip to Alaska and Yes Bay Lodge 8-29-2014. By now most everyone is aware I made a quick trip to Yes Bay Lodge to work a large group for a few days and also take some pictures for the Lodge and do some fishing for myself. I left Kalispell Montana on Tuesday the 19th of August and had a quick and painless flight - was actually standing at the Lodge by 10:30 in the morning Alaska time. Left Kalispell at 5:45 in the morning Montana time. Who could ask for more!

http://captjimtravelblog.blogspot.com/2015/04/gallery-showing-update.html
Saturday, April 4, 2015. Since last fall I have been planning and contemplating the photos to display at the Gallery Showing at Nine Muses in Barberton. As the time grows near I am getting more and more excited to show my work. The opportunity to be recognized for my love of photography by my peers is something very special for me and I can't wait! The high gloss of the acrylic sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results. These are the images which are in Acrylic. Delicate ...

Since the good news from my Doctor and no additional adverse symptoms since turning the propane off in my trailer, I have been on a mission to solve several issues. 1 Find and solve the propane issue. 2 Find new tires for the trailer. 3 Find front spring shackles to lower the front of the truck. 4 Plan a fun trip through Utah to head to Bullfrog for the summer. I am really relieved to make this discovery!

Sunday, May 24, 2015. Busy in Kalispell on the car! It has been a real busy time here getting the race car ready for the opening race on June 6th. Many, many little things left to do to get it perfect for testing on the track later this week. Yesterday was a big day, the car rolled outside in the sunshine and got loaded on the trailer for a short trip over to the alignment shop to set the alignment. Always under the watchful eye of Clyde! What is left to be done? Capt Jim - "The Wanderer". Went for a dri...

Friday, December 27, 2013. Blog Update - Where in the hell did the RV idea come in to play! I have been asked this many times in my travels and via email from several of my followers, so I figured I would relate the story on how I decided to get rid of everything and start full-timing in an RV. The train stops in Prince George where you disembark for the night at a local hotel, then you board again in the morning to head to Jasper. On December 19th of 2011 I had the truck loaded with all my crap and head...

Friday, January 16, 2015. Love it when a Plan comes together! Several years ago I took a trip down from Kalispell towards Salt Lake City and went through Yellowstone, it was late in the season, cold and the park was getting ready to shut down for the winter, I swore then that I needed to come back to this wonderful place and record my adventures with my camera. I dug through some old emails from last year and contacted the person back at Yellowstone, in hopes to contact early enough to hopefully land a s...

Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Blog Update - May 20th, 2014 - Summer Job Underway! Well, my first week of work is complete, actually 2 weeks.and all is well! Job is a little different than what I thought, but then again, I expected that so no problems. Took a few days to get an electrical problem solved (bad breaker) in the RV Spot I preferred, but they jumped right on it and I moved the trailer to my permanent spot a couple days ago and now the trailer is level and in a wider, bigger spot and I am happy. Severa...
