Saturday, January 23, 2010. It snowed last night and it is beautiful! Although winter is my least favorite season it still has its pluses. A beautiful snowfall is one of them. Thursday, January 28, 2010. I flew into Long Beach tonight to spend the weekend with Jim, in our condo. I love the fact that when I walk off the plane I don't need a coat, I can see the stars and the full moon, and there are palm trees swaying in the breezes. Aaahhhhhh. California. It's a nice place to visit.but I wouldn't want to live here. Which makes me really sad. For Jim. The poor guy is traveling all the time! Its such a crummy situation! I would go crazy! Too much Kelly time is bad for the soul.

Sunday, June 21, 2009. Our lives are so full and busy it is hard to keep up with it all! I was just recouperating from having my sister pass away when I had to begin preparing for Trek. It was a great experience but one of the hardest things I have ever done. Let's just say I don't want to do it again, anytime soon. The funeral was wonderful. Thursday, September 10, 2009. I don't write near as often as I should. I just can't imagine that anyone is interested in reading what I have to say. The only people who even know I have a blog are my children and I talk to them several times a day so, it seems rather pointless. But, nevertheless, here goes. Anyway things like funerals, (which we have had a lot of, lately) always get me to thinking about my own mortality. Am I ready to die if I should get hit by a bus tomorrow? My mind can't even go there.

Saturday, December 27, 2008. A Most Wonderful Idaho Christmas! Dad, as usual, did a family home evening presentation and read the Christmas story from Luke. That night we got to our room and just stayed up and talked till 1:30am. It was so great. We had tickets to Twilight at 1:30pm. It wasn't as good.
