http://catjonesblog.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 17, 2007. Mumbai/Bombay (3rd - 5th Dec). We were only in Mumbai for two days and 11 hrs but this was easly enough time to drown the senses with the different culture, amazing sights, sounds and smells that the city has to offer. Thursday, December 13, 2007. First stop - Dubai. So here it begins, my travel blog - a little later than initially planned, but thought i'd give myself a break from computer screens for a while. Saw a crazy bird a bit like a coal tit but with a black punky mohekan.

Sunday, May 4, 2008. Sumatra, Indonesia (23rd Apr - 3rd May). We walked from the east side of the island over the mountain in the middle to the west side, where sulpherous hotspring water awaited us - bliss for those aching legs, exactly what the doctor ordered. Catherine's Travel Blog: March 2008
http://catjonesblog.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30, 2008. Vietnam (12th - 31st Mar). The owner saw our puzzled looks and came over to help. After just one night in Kon Tum we set off for Da Nang in a Mercedes Sprinter mini van, quite a luxury after days spent on public busses in Laos - so glad there were seat belts though! We later realised he had paid for our onward bus fares to Hoi An (our next destination)! We were dumbfounded by this unexplained generocity and couldn't work out what we'd done to deserve it! And 'you buy from me?

http://catjonesblog.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 19, 2008. Koh Tao (16th - 21st Jan). The beaches are stunning, really clear water. I bought a snorkel and mask yesterday -money well spent! I've not done much snorkelling before - totally took my breath away! I've learnt that if you see a cloud of dust there's usually a ray around and if you follow the trail of dust you usually find it! Also saw a cucumber doing a poo. Not seen any turtles yet. Friday, January 18, 2008. Bangkok (10th - 15th Jan). Tuesday, January 15, 2008. The wedding w...

Catherine's Travel Blog: Railay (10th - 17th Apr)
http://catjonesblog.blogspot.com/2008/05/railay-10th-17th-apr.html
Sunday, May 4, 2008. Railay (10th - 17th Apr). From Railay, Thailand. From Railay, Thailand. From Railay, Thailand. As you can probably imagine from these photos it wasn't difficult to relax on Railay beach. Although Railay is not an island, to get there you must travel by boat since its surrounded by limestone cliffs and thick jungle. From our bamboo hut we could here gibbons calling in the distance and could watch beautiful langur monkeys. We were also visited by fireflys and a tree frog.
