Story Sorority: Characters
http://storysorority.blogspot.com/2013/12/characters.html
A gathering place for readers. Friday, December 6, 2013. Did you find the characters likeable? Even though they were rabbits, were there any themes or feelings you could relate to? I found most of them likeable except for a few with General Woundwort being the one I disliked the most. I think their feelings of protection of family and home and preservation of a way of life feelings that I could relate to. January 15, 2014 at 6:51 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Story Sorority: Scarlett and Ashley
http://storysorority.blogspot.com/2013/10/scarlett-and-ashley.html
A gathering place for readers. Wednesday, October 2, 2013. What did you think of the relationship between Ashley and Scarlett? Ughh If you follow me on Good reads you will have seen my comment about Ashley. I was set to love Ashley. I havent watched the movie since I was young so I probably missed a lot of things but I went into it thinking Scarlett only wanted him because Melanie had him. I thought he loved her like a sister or friend the way Melanie did. Boy was I surprised. October 5, 2013 at 6:11 PM.

Story Sorority: Ending
http://storysorority.blogspot.com/2013/12/ending.html
A gathering place for readers. Friday, December 6, 2013. In the end Screwtape does not lose faith in his cause even though the patient triumps over temptation. Why do you think Lewis chose to end the book that way? Why is Screwtape sustained by "the conviction that our Realism, our rejection (in the face of all temptations) of all silly nonsense and claptrap, must win in the end"? What warning is implied in the book's ending? The warning: The Devil never quits! December 10, 2013 at 9:19 AM. In the Dark S...

Story Sorority: The O'Haras
http://storysorority.blogspot.com/2013/10/the-oharas.html
A gathering place for readers. Wednesday, October 2, 2013. What are your thoughts on Scarlett's father Gerald? And the rest of her family? Her mother is made out to be a saint but I dont know much about her. Her sisters were diverse. The one being religious, the other as selfish as Scarlett. Actually I think she was more selfish than Scarlett. It really bothered me when Scarlett was making herself do all sorts of things she didnt want to and her sister wouldnt help. A gathering place for readers. Friday, December 6, 2013. Why is Screwtape so pleased when the patient becomes friends with a group of people who are "rich, smart, superficially intellectual, and brightly skeptical about everything in the world"? Story Sorority: The appeal of this book
http://storysorority.blogspot.com/2013/12/the-appeal-of-this-book.html
A gathering place for readers. Friday, December 6, 2013. The appeal of this book. Much of the appeal The Screwtape Letters derives from Lewis's startlingly original reversal: telling a story about Christian faith not from a Christian point-of-view but from the perspective of a devil trying to secure the damnation of one man's soul. Why is this strategy so effective? What does it allow Lewis to accomplish that would have been impossible in a more straighforward approach? December 10, 2013 at 8:57 AM.

http://storysorority.blogspot.com/2013/12/screwtape-and-wormwood.html
A gathering place for readers. Friday, December 6, 2013. The sub-plot of The Screwtape Letters turns on Screwtape's relationship with his nephew Wormwood, the apprentice tempter and demonic understudy in charge of carrying out Screwtape's instructions. How do Screwtape and Wormwood regard each other? What is Lewis suggesting by having the story end with Screwtape preparing to devour a member of his own family? December 10, 2013 at 9:08 AM.
