This year I tackled a turkey! I did the "turkey in a bag method"- way easy. I brushed it with butter, rubbed a mixture of rosemary, thyme, and salt n pepper, and laid it on a bed of onions and celery. I finished it off by sprinkling it with paprika for even browning. Jimmy, Kelli, and Claire. No it's Iowa" -Field of Dreams. Monday, August 22, 2011. 10 pounds 2 ounces. 22 1/4 inches long. Just started sleeping through the night- about 7-8 hour stretches, yes! Very content and calm. LOVES her swing and staring at herself in the mirror on the mobile. Is a good eater. Has some reflux and usually smells like baby puke. Has to sleep swaddled. Likes being wrapped in her soft blankie. Loves to look around and is very alert. Is a binkie baby- loves her binkie. A very proud Dad.

Wednesday, July 31, 2013. StPatrick's Day and Glendalough. I'm a little behind on this blogging thing, but anyway. St. Patrick's Day (don't call it Patty's day, that's offensive) fell on a Sunday this year so we did not attend the parade. We were told it's mostly Americans walking through claiming their Irishness, no big loss. But Saturday we went into town to enjoy all the street carnivals that are set up and eat some street food. Thursday, November 15, 2012. The night before we saw the cliffs we stayed at the Ritz in Galway. They had a drop in kids club where the kids could play and be entertained while the adults ate a nice dinner, and played cards! This the visitor center, museum, gift shop, and cafe all built into the side of the cliffs. No-one mentioned we'd have to hike all the way up to the top. Alan and Stephen pushing the buggys. Sunday, February 24, 2013. Bray Beach and Hike. Last weekend we headed out to Bray, which is a coastal town about 40 minutes East of our house. Friday, November 2, 2012. Halloween, a cruise and Jason Mraz. This isn't the greatest picture but I had to include it! Emily surprised me for our birthday with Jason Mraz tickets! The concert was amazing and we got upgraded seats-it was a wonderful night! Jimmy and I finally took our make-up cruise. It didn't break down this time woot woot!
