Jumping jacks, walks, trampoline, stairs, housework and then finally when Hadley was good and ready. And immediately loved and adored. By all of us. Saturday, May 30, 2009. Cortnie's 4th grade Rendezvous Roundup. Cortnie and her cousin Toree. They are the same age and in the same class, how fun! Cortnie called me the night before her program and said "Grandma, are you coming to my program tomorrow night at 6? I have a part and I was wondering if you could come." Well, there was no way I could deny that sweet little voice! Cortnie had a big speaking part, she was part of a skit that was cute and funny and full of Utah history. I remember being 10!

The Ward home is on a quiet, nice, tree lined street only a few blocks from the famous University of Michigan stadium. (That's a big deal in these parts). Mackinac Island was the best, I wanted to stay a week! Janie, mom, Jill, me on our cute basket cruiser bikes. This is the island where the movie "Somewhere in Time" was filmed. (Mackinac trivia). That is the word that best describes Mackinac Island.

Wednesday, November 25, 2009. Birthday Party week end for Kennedy and Hudson. Happy 7th Birthday Kennedy! Shelli planned a fun filled weekend to celebrate Kennedy and Hudson's birthdays. We sure appreciate them bringing the party to us! Cristin, Marcia, Trina, Hudson, Dustin. Hudson and Preslie loved running from one end of the train to the other. It was the very best one on the wall! 160;Cortnie's cute little friends excitedly greeted her at the door and asked her if this is the Grandma that spoils her :) If they were referring to the Grandma that took her skiing like 20 something times this season then maybe they had me confused with Carol and I can't really take credit for the Hannah Montana thing either.but I grabbed the glory for a minute and it made my day :).
