Two Years in South Africa. Saturday, October 07, 2006. Last birthday in SA. Only about 1 1/2 months left now! The last week of September was also Aardklop week in Potchefstroom, whitch is this big Afrikaans festival that attracts people from all over. I don't understand the music and the other entertainment much, but I spent several days exploring the clothing and gift stalls and buying food, as the park the festival is in is just down the street from my house. Two Years in South Africa. Saturday, April 09, 2005. Two bits of bad news. 1) I had to give up the puppy. I did a lot of hard thinking and decided that my house wouldn't be the best environment for it. A lot of the kids came back from break with pets so we are kind of overloaded with animals right now and the kid in the room next door is thinking about getting a monkey! That's all for now.
