Events at the Ranch. Saddle and Driving Club. Nocturnal and arboreal the kinkajou is an athlete in his rain forest habitat. Using his prehensile tail and flexible feet he forages for fruits, nuts, insects, and honey. His long tongue is used to extract pollen which is then dispersed throughout his environment. Events at the Ranch. Saddle and Driving Club. Like all vultures, the King has a featherless head and neck, a powerful beak to accommodate its feeding on carcasses and a body built for soaring. Unlike other vultures the King is vividly colored. The only armadillo that can roll into a tight ball for protection, this amazing creature can withstand larger predators by closing its vulnerable underside within its hard shell waiting for danger to pass before opening and trotting off to cover. Wednesday, May 6, 2009. The three marches reading was very fun to read. It talked about three different marches that helped change things for the LGBT community. Because they loved someone of the same sex. That shouldn’t matter people are people and to me discrimination of any type is unacceptable. The government basically discriminates against the LGBT community without any consequences. It’s just like discrimination against different races, but with a different group of people.
