Joan Tayler Design: Rose Lockets

http://joantayler.blogspot.com/2015/07/rose-lockets.html

Sunday, July 5, 2015. Long days at the studio soothed myself with production while so much of our province is on fire. There is nothing really close to Vancouver but we woke this morning to a sky gray with smoke and marine cloud and a strange apricot coloured sun. I think it is time for a rain dance. And what about the locket? I am back at the market Monday and Tuesday to try out a simpler set up then is back to production for the upcoming Vancouver Folk Festival. Posted by joan tayler. Metric's Musings: October 2013

http://metricsmusings.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

At the moment, my thinking is that this will primarily be a diary of my Crossfit workouts, but I suspect other comments and thoughts will creep in from time to time. Thursday, 31 October 2013. 2013-10-31 - Craig - Step-ups, Burpees. 10 box step ups. 10 x 20" box step ups. That was too high for me just yet. My left hip wouldn't sit back, used to much quad and that knee wandered a lot. Having said that the gap between current state and being able to use it well is closing. That has certainly been fixed.

At the moment, my thinking is that this will primarily be a diary of my Crossfit workouts, but I suspect other comments and thoughts will creep in from time to time. Thursday, 27 March 2014. 2014-03-27 - Craig - Floor press, Push-ups. 1 max Set Push-ups. 4 x 5 x 25kg. Obviously some experimenting with how you actually set- up to do these. I can fudge it now, but when they get heavier, I'll need to be able to get under the bar safely. Didn't really get the bar path right that I can see. More work to do.

Polymer clay combines the properties of two and three dimensional art. It fascinates me.". Polymer clay, like most visual art mediums, attempts to freeze a moment. For my purposes it does it very well; it makes me happy. There are a couple of pictures on the "about" page, more pictures on my blog.
