Tuesday, January 26, 2010. There are so many new developments happening weekly with Rechurch that it is hard to keep everyone updated with it! flammertime: October 2009

Saturday, October 24, 2009. A popular fundraiser in New Zealand is to do a sausage sizzle. Basically you set yourself up in a high traffic area with a grill, some drinks and a few condiments and sell sausages (like American bratwurst) on white bread with onions. It is a cheap snack/meal and a fun fundraiser. . With the recent devastation in the Asian Pacific countries that have affected many families in New Zealand, ReChurch decided to partner with World Vision. We set up at the QEII park complex.

http://flammertime.blogspot.com/2009/12/im-lovin-it.html
Tuesday, December 1, 2009. I realise that it has been a while since I have posted something fun about life in New Zealand. Most of our updates lately have been about Rechurch, but I thought today's events would make for a perfect glimpse into other parts of New Zealand life and culture. Last month there was a "Largest Mattress Domino Competition" where people were to bring out their mattresses and stand them in a line like a domino chain. Also last month was an attempt to have the "Longest Line Dance...

The Wedding of Joseph and Amy
But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.
