Saturday, July 11, 2015. When we got to Evanston we decided to get another tire from Walmart and put a fresh one on the other side as well. Sammy and Thomas helped Joel with that while I took the others to McDonalds. There was a play place and they were impressed that the chairs were saddles! Then we were back on our way and so excited to be at Alanna's! As we got into Utah the kids were amazed at all the mountains and rocky bluffs. Josh, Gideon, and Sam kept saying, "Oh, I'd love to climb that one!

He came out of surgery really well and we were able to head back to Alanna's house. Alanna had gotten balloons for him and all his siblings and cousins made him cards. He was pretty sore for a couple of days but by day 4 he was out and about as if nothing had happened. He was climbing a tree less than a week after the incident. Links to this post. Bret and Marissa Family. Saturday, April 28, 2012. Poor Eliza. sometimes she just can't catch a break. Maybe that should say she catches TOO MANY breaks. Back in January (when I was still a blog slacker) she had a hairline fracture on the top of her right foot due to a run-in with a very full (read VERY LARGE AND HEAVY) Costco cart. She spent 3 weeks in a walking boot. She spent a week in a splint. She couldn't walk on it or get it wet. That was a rough week for both of us. Happy birthday little miss ;).
