We played our first and only gig at the BHMS 6th grade talent show. We got this kid on our basketball team, Mike Brown, (who had the most amazing mullet) to play drums, and our favorite teacher, Mr. Pagnanni to sing for us. We played Lithium by Nirvana, and I Could Have Lied by the Chili Peppers. Have you ever thought about starting a band?

8220;New York City” now on iTunes! Oct 16, 2011 - 6:51pm × no comments. I know I’ve posted this video before, but the high quality audio is now available for download on iTunes! I’m currently in the middle of recording the studio versions of this and a handful of other new songs too! The studio versions will be full productions with lots of pop-tastic ear-candy!

New Video! « Joel Pack

Jul 18, 2011 - 8:21pm × no comments. Last week while Meggi was out of town for work, I decided to make a quick video for a song I recently wrote about a friend of mine. I thought, “Hey, I’ll just put up a camera, bring a couple mics up from the studio, and sync it up on imovie!

Megistentialism: May 2012

http://megistentialism.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Wednesday, May 30, 2012. I can't help but think about the fact that I will be 29 in a month. To say that this week has been a time of reflection would be an understatement. Monday night, I slept for a whole 90 minutes. Not consecutive. That's all I could get. My brain refused to turn off. I sat the majority of the night in self-reflection and analyzed my life, my goals, my intentions and mostly myself. What is it about leaving your twenties that is so terrifying? Do you feel the same with each decade?

Megistentialism: Babypalooza!

http://megistentialism.blogspot.com/2013/10/babypalooza.html

Sunday, October 13, 2013. You may have noticed that I have been MIA on le blog. It’s been for good reason. A lot has been going on in the J and M household. And to be honest I couldn’t write about it. Maybe I shouldn’t say couldn’t, as much as, didn’t want to. I didn’t know where to start and I didn’t know what I wanted to put it in a public forum. I have done everything possible over the past 7 years to make this blog as private as possible aside from requiring a sign-in. My sister is also adopted.

Megistentialism: Identity Capital

http://megistentialism.blogspot.com/2013/06/identity-capital.html

Saturday, June 8, 2013. The decade of discovery is coming to an end and the decade of adulthood is right around the corner. At least, that’s how I feel. In less than a month I will be the BIG 3-0. Wrapping my head around 30 has been tough. The twenties have been a decade of learning, growing, changing, screwing up, screwing around, and living life with the idea that… well … I still have time. Time to make the wrong decisions. Time to discover myself. Time to chase silly dreams. Time to explore life.

Megistentialism: January 2014

http://megistentialism.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html

Monday, January 6, 2014. A Birth Story - a Journey of Gratitude. I have read countless birth stories across the internet but the idea of having my own seems like a fantasy. So much of my pregnancy was spent discussing the birth and what I wanted the outcome to be but the idea that it is all said and done still seems …. well… unreal. What do you have to prove? I never expected my views to change so drastically. As we got closer to my due date, more people asked what my intentions were. I wanted a natu...

Megistentialism: June 2012

http://megistentialism.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Counting down to the big 2.9. I have been super MIA. Today officially started my birthday week! In the process, I have been gearing up for the big 2-9 by having lots of fun :). This past Sunday, a few friends and I took a little road trip to Grand Junction for the final day of Country Jam! The show was amazing! I heard over 80,000 people attended. I don't doubt it, it was packed! Then last night, we went to Keane. With some friends. It was awesome! Where did the time go? It make...

Megistentialism: April 2012

Friday, April 27, 2012. As a completely random side note to that last post. You are not Adele. Choosing her songs for every karaoke session will not end pretty. She is amazing and no matter how awesome you are, you will not sound as amazing as she does. End Rant. Moving on . Cozumel was our first stop on our cruise. and it was also our FAVORITE. Excursion of the whole week! Motorcycle Tour of the Island. I usually prefer not to use this word but it was amaze-balls. We stopped in Cedral for some water and...

Megistentialism: January 2012

http://megistentialism.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Last night, my husband opened for a band here in Salt Lake that he has opened for many times since I moved to Utah in 2007. ( We'll call them RB and they are great. Being at this show reminded my husband and I of a story that happened back when I FIRST. To my new home: Utah. The afternoon before my interview ( which was basically just a formality as they told me I was a shoe-in. I needed a job! At the same time, one of J's exes had been calling/texting him religiously saying ...

Jessie's Jems!: November 2014

http://jessiesjems.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 28, 2014. Thanksgiving 2014- I Am Thanful For Adequate Plumbing. This year, for Thanksgiving, we had the family coming over to our house to eat. That meant Ryan and I would be cooking our first Thanksgiving dinner. I will be honest with you: the idea of it terrified me. I am not what you would call a "good cook." However, we decided we'd give it a shot! Because we were having so much fun, we didn't realize what time it was, and we didn't get home until after midnight! THE HELL YOU SAY!
