Thursday, July 25, 2013. Kota Kinabalu and Brunei. Getting to Sabah, Borneo Malaysia went seemlessly. 3 days of long car rides and getting up early = Grumpy Joey and Skye. Gunung Bromo and Ijen are difficult places to get to using public transport, so you are basically stuck with booking a tour through a company. Joey and I have had it with tours but I guess we had to do it one last time (we hope). This tour involved long sits on the bus and very early mornings! Tuesday, May 11, 2010. We were so happy.

Tuesday, January 26, 2010. Bangkok: One crazy place. Seeing as we messed up our trip to Myanmar, we took our extra time in Bangkok to take in the sites and experiences with the city has to offer. Tuesday, May 11, 2010. Beautiful Borneo Part 2. After some much needed R&R at the Mayfair Hotel in Sandakan, it was time to head off for our next adventure in Semporna. Semporna isn't much of a city, but what's special about it is that off it's shoreline, lies one of the most beautiful dive sites in the world called Sipadan. Monday, May 3, 2010. We flew to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah on the Malaysian side of Borneo. Kota Kinabalu was a cute little city on the water. We were picked up by our hotel, which is so nice getting of a flight and seeing that someone is holding a sign with your name on it.
