A few weeks ago, we (us and Shelly) decided to hike up to the caves at the top of Mt Timpanogos. It was a beautiful day, gorgeous hike and a the caves were really cool. Of course, to get to the cave, we had to hike uphill nearly a mile and a half. I dont know why I was expecting it to be a little more leisurely. This is us just about to go into the caves. Tonight, we can truly say, that together we're invincible". I forgot to mention. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. Its been way too long since I posted about my growing baby. He is getting so big and changing every day and constantly making me do a double take at him because I just cant believe he said or did something so big! Paxton is almost 22 months old. He sleeps all through the night (has for a long time now) and he takes 4-hour naps still which is AWESOME because I get quality "ME" time every day.

Tonight, we can truly say, that together we're invincible". Monday, April 18, 2011. Its about this time of year that I start to crave the trees and serene of the Pinecrest. Everything I smell reminds me of it. My entire life, I have looked forward to bringing my own family to my own special paradise. We weren't able to go last year because we were in Tennessee. Im crossing my fingers and hoping so much that we can make it this summer. I miss it. I love it. Pinecrest, you are my Heaven in the Hills.

Thursday, July 25, 2013. Kota Kinabalu and Brunei. Getting to Sabah, Borneo Malaysia went seemlessly. 3 days of long car rides and getting up early = Grumpy Joey and Skye. Gunung Bromo and Ijen are difficult places to get to using public transport, so you are basically stuck with booking a tour through a company. Joey and I have had it with tours but I guess we had to do it one last time (we hope). This tour involved long sits on the bus and very early mornings! Tuesday, May 11, 2010. We were so happy.
