We had a few sickies in the house and it had been raining, so what could be better than soup (especially if said soup had a little heat to clear the sinuses)! That went with it. :). 2 quarts water (8 cups). 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves. 1 tsp ground black pepper. 1 tsp garlic powder. 2 TBS dried parsley. 1 TBS onion powder. 5 cubes chicken bouillon (5 tsp). 3 TBS olive oil.

My sister made this for me when I visited her a few weekends ago, and I couldn't wait to get home and have it again. And then I couldn't wait to have leftovers for lunch the next day. And then again the next day. Super healthy and super yummy. 1 cup sweet bell peppers. 1 can black beans. 1 cup frozen corn. 1 lb sweet potatoes. 1 can diced tomatoes. 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth. 2 TBS lime juice.

Sometimes we don't even bake it, just leave it oooey gooey, still tastes waaay too good. 2 cups brown sugar. 1/2 cup light corn syrup. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 5 quarts popped popcorn (about three bags). Preheat oven to 250. Place popcorn in a very large bowl, making sure there are no kernels! We use our roasting pan for when we cook a turkey).

Anyways, I made this last night and it was good. The potatoes were exceptional! Here is my modified version of the recipe:. 4 chicken breasts, cut in half. 4 TBS olive oil. 2 TBS grated onion. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp ground black pepper. 1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce. 4 1/2 tsp fresh parsley (I used 1 TBS dried parsley). 2 bananas, sliced.

Serve with warm rolls on a cold windy day, and you've got a wonderful fall meal. I originally made this to serve 11 people. I doubled the recipe, and it was just enough. For my family, I won't need to double. 3 1/2 cups peeled, diced potatoes. 1/3 cup celery, diced. 1/3 cup finely chopped onion. 3/4 cup ham, cooked and diced. 3 1/4 cups water. 2 TBS chicken bullion granules.

And, for evenings that you know will be stressfull/busy, you can chop everything way ahead of time, so you can throw it in the oven when the time comes! 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips. 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with chilies, drained. 1 medium onion, cut into thin strips. 12 6-inch corn tortillas. 2-3 tsp chili powder. 2 tsp ground cumin.
