preparing for sloane.: March 2012
http://jonandsaraplatt.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 15, 2012. It has been awhile so let me get you up to date on what has been going on. Sloane is a little over 3 months old! This is totally bittersweet. I am super excited for her to start crawling and talking (and fitting in to crewcuts and reva flats) but at the same time I am SO sad to see her grow. The other terrible fact is that it has been over 3 months since I have given birth.which means I have zero excuses to be fat and not phat. Boo. He has to work but COME ON! She is in here!

Thursday, January 31, 2013. The other day I put on Lady and the Tramp. I hadn't seen this movie in forever. Probably 20 years. It was never my favorite. I thought she would like it because she loves animals. (She also loves being outside.whose child is this? Well, she liked it! So then, we tried to watch Nemo. I had forgotten.can you say tear jerker? I think when I saw this movie for the first time it was at home (my parents house) and my brother skipped the beginning. Oh my gosh! San Fran Trip 2009.

Thursday, December 15, 2011. Sara, she's the coolest girl I've ever met". That is what Jon said to me the moment he met our sweet Sloane. Yes, we had her! That is why my blogging has been non-existent. I have been so busy staring at this angel to think about. Let me get you up to speed on how this whole thing went down. Monday December 5th- Sloane's birthday. And before I could answer he had his slacks off and jeans on the ironing board. I hopped in the shower. This was. And she was awesome. I got pi...

Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Not sure I remember how to do this. That's because it has been exactly FIVE months since I have blogged. I can't believe it! Five crucial months of Sloane's growth. I started this blog so I could document my life as we raise our first princess. Now, I have to go from 4 to 9 months in one post. Not really, but I will tell you a little about what I have been doing, and what I have on my to do list. I, on the other hand, have had many sleepless nights, a mommy bunko night with li...

Wednesday, November 30, 2011. The waiting is the hardest part. Every night I sit really still on the couch and hope for contractions. This is NOT working. I know my due date is technically 3 weeks away, but I am SO ready to dispense this baby child. Maybe I should swallow a quarter? Just joking, Jon. I am REALLY ready. I can no longer wear my rings so I look like an un-wed women and can hardly use Jon's credit card. I shave my legs everyday in anticipation of labor and frankly I am sick of doing it!

preparing for sloane.: April 2012
http://jonandsaraplatt.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 2, 2012. Last weekend I spent my first nights away from my baby. I missed her SO much, but we had a lot of fun. We went to Santa Fe for our annual moms trip. (A few of my sorostitute sisters and their moms). I had never been to the land of turquoise so I was excited to spend money and eat green chili's. We were all mortified. I think we ended up buying her $50 reef flips with mouse ears on them. Ew. Ew. Ew. Here are some pics. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The happiest day of my life!

Friday, January 20, 2012. It's like riding a bike. Or so the saying goes. Last night I went to spin class at the new BEYOND Pedaling. Yea, seriously. Let me give you a little background on my recent workout history. Just when I think it couldn't get any worse. There is a projector screen at the front of the room with crazy neon lights that go along with the music. Cool, right? It was like I hit a brick wall. Gee, I wonder if anyone will notice that I am moving in slow motion? Not cool, not cool at all.
