Monday, June 22, 2009. Getting brave. feeling the water. Melina in contemplation of the water. We went to the beach at Dam Neck Naval Base on Saturday. It happened to reach a record high of 100 degrees! I lured Mike and Becky to go with us since I knew they would be brave enough to take Melina into the ocean, but each time they went in, Melina was confused that they could swim since they weren't "mermaids."
