Several dozen) here in HK are getting into their breeding plumage, while the more numerous (several hundred) Black-headed Gulls are still very much in non-breeding plumage. I was in Sungai Wain, Balikpapan, Kalimantan Timur, Indonesian Borneo in the last week of March 2014 hoping to photograph the Borneo Peacock Pheasant. Which eventually proved to be too elusive.
