Johnny Peters 3D 09/10

Johnny Peters 3D 09/10. Sunday, 6 December 2009. FInal Image: Pitcher Plant. Lost a chunk of work for my model, but this is the final image after restoring it:. I added the background and a few lights to add effect to the final image. I extruded a polygon from the top of the torus and used to to shape the "lid", scaling individual sections to give it more bulk. Texturing and adding a water droplet. I extended and scaled the opening of the plant to make it more realistic, and prepare it for the "lid".

Johnny Peters 3D 09/10. Wednesday, 30 September 2009. Saturday, 26 September 2009. Had a quick go at making a face in 3ds max, it was going well untill I realised the pictures I was using for reference weren't on the same scale. Here is the initial result anyway:. Just having a play with some of the features of 3DS max, working on a rifle at the moment. Will post results in the morning. Friday, 25 September 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

3D Studio Max 2009/10: Venus Flytrap With Background

http://tomearly3d-tomnomnom.blogspot.com/2009/12/venus-flytrap-with-background.html

3D Studio Max 2009/10. Friday, 4 December 2009. Venus Flytrap With Background. Here is the completed Venus Flytrap image. At first i did think that it may be a little too crowded, but i messed around with the it a lot by deleting some models, rearanging and resizing them and i felt that this was actually fine as it was. I am quite pleased with how its turned out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Venus Flytrap With Background. View my complete profile.

http://tomearly3d-tomnomnom.blogspot.com/2009/12/completed-stamps.html

3D Studio Max 2009/10. Saturday, 5 December 2009. Here are the final designs for the stamps. They have all turned out so much better than i was expecting them to and I am extremely pleased with them all. Anyway. I have really enjoyed using 3D Studio Max. I found it quite difficult to use at first but now i feel so much more confident with it. I will definately be continuing to use this program in the hope that someday i may be able to use these skills for some kind of ideal job for me. :D.

3ds Max 2009 blog: December 2009

http://bmarck-3dsmax09.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html

3ds Max 2009 blog. Friday, 11 December 2009. In this module I have found one of my most valued strengths to be creativity and patience. This work is very time consuming and requires a great deal of effort to get the desired results. I also like to credit my ability to pick up and learn new skills which have helped me tremendously in terms of Modelling, Texturing and Lighting effects. I fell my biggest threat this is area of work has to be time management. I will in future be planning work with a sche...

3ds Max 2009 blog: Swordfish Texturing

http://bmarck-3dsmax09.blogspot.com/2009/12/swordfish-texturing.html

3ds Max 2009 blog. Friday, 4 December 2009. Now my swordfish model is complete - i can start to apply a texture to my render. I started off by 'Unwrapping' my model using the Unwrap modifier, however due to the shape of this particular animal the fins and tail made the unwrap result very difficult to work with. To work around this the fins and tail were removed and just the fish body was unwrapped. This allowed me to start texturing more easily by doing the fins seperately. 4 December 2009 at 09:29.

3D Studio Max 2009/10. Sunday, 22 November 2009. Killer Whale With Background (Incomplete). Ok, i couldnt resist! I was meant to wait until i'd finished my last model to start on the backgrounds, but i found a great tutorial on how to make the sea so i just had to give it a go. Oh yeah, and i need to add some splashing effects by the tail to make it look more realistic. For anyone who is interested, here is the tutorial i used:. 3D Studio Max 2009/10: October 2009

http://tomearly3d-tomnomnom.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

3D Studio Max 2009/10. Sunday, 25 October 2009. First, i found an image of a butterfly wing on the internet. (You have NO idea how long it took to find one that i could actually use). Then using the same method for the leaf in Richard's materials tutorial, i added the wing onto a plane. Next, i started on the body by creating a cone. I then elongated the cone a little. Next i coned the top half in order to make it resemble a butterflies body a little more. I also reduced the size a little. This is my lea...

3ds Max 2009 blog: September 2009

http://bmarck-3dsmax09.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

3ds Max 2009 blog. Friday, 25 September 2009. Excersie 1 - White House Render. This was the first render i've done in the course so far and im fairly happy with the results! Most of the work was aligning and setting the shape sizes to make sure they were correct in the Perspective view. I have limited knowledge of 3ds Max so i'm really keen to get started! I think the idea of 3D Stamps will be interesting as a first assignment and allow me to build on my design skills for future work.
